Royal Rye One

Whole grain bread can be just as amazing as ones made with all white flours. Dark rye is a favorite in our house. Here's a delicious recipe for a dark rye bread with a crunchy crust:

Measure 200g of bread flour:

200g bread flour

Place it in the container, and measure 200g of water:

200g water

Add a tiny bit of yeast to the water:

Yeasty water

Let the water sit until the yeast is dissolved, then add it to the flour:

Mixture

Stir it until well incorporated:

Starter

Cover it, and let it sit at room temperature overnight.
